End of Key Stage 2 Attainment
Children were tested in Reading, Maths and Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling (GPS) and achieved a raw score which was converted to a scaled score ranging from 80 to 120; to meet the expected standard (Ex) children had to achieve a scaled score of 100. To achieve greater depth (GD), a scaled score of 110 had to be achieved. Average scaled scores (ASS) are detailed below.
Children were teacher assessed in writing as working within the standard (Ex), or at greater depth (GD).
Progress Measures
Progress measures provide a score based on the progress the year group have made starting from their prior attainment at the end of KS1 (end of year 2). There are no national benchmarks If a school has a progress score of 0 this means that on average their pupils achieved similar results at the end of KS2 (end of year 6) to pupils in other schools with similar results at the end of KS1 (end of year 2). If a school has a positive progress score this means that on average their pupils made more progress than pupils in other schools with similar results at the end of KS1. Progress scores generally fall between -5 and 5.
